About roofing contractors in Bloomfield

Roofers repair, replace and inspect residential roofs, from asphalt shingles to metal and low-slope systems. Roofing contractors tear off and replace worn roofs, fix leaks, replace flashing and vents, repair hail and wind damage, and help homeowners document storm claims with insurers. Many also install ice-and-water shield, ridge ventilation and gutters as part of a full re-roof.

Typical cost: $8,500–$24,000 for a typical asphalt shingle replacement. See the full cost guide

Typical U.S. ranges from industry sources (2024–25); not EdgeLocal data. Your quote will vary with scope, materials and location.

Questions to ask this contractor

  1. Verify registration and insurance: Ask for a certificate of liability and workers comp insurance naming you as holder.
  2. Get three written bids: Compare the same shingle line, underlayment and ventilation plan on each.
  3. Ask about manufacturer certification: Certified installers can offer extended system warranties.
