About plumbers in Minneapolis

Plumbers install and repair water supply, drain, gas and fixture systems in homes and businesses. Plumbers fix leaks and clogs, replace water heaters, install sinks, toilets and showers, repipe old galvanized lines, run gas lines for appliances and handle frozen or burst pipes. Licensed plumbers also pull permits for new rough-ins during remodels.

Typical cost: $175–$550 for a typical service call and repair. See the full cost guide

Typical U.S. ranges from industry sources (2024–25); not EdgeLocal data. Your quote will vary with scope, materials and location.

Questions to ask this contractor

  1. Confirm a state or local plumbing license: Plumbing is a licensed trade in most of the region — ask for the license number.
  2. Ask how pricing works: Flat-rate pricing is easier to compare than open-ended hourly billing.
  3. Describe the problem precisely: Photos of the leak or fixture help get an accurate quote over the phone.
