The men and women at Crain are the best in my opinion. We were having major sewer issues and they were out the next day, in sub-zero, weather fixing the issue. Very professional and hard working!

Typical cost: $2,000–$15,000 for residential site work. See the full cost guide

Typical U.S. ranges from industry sources (2024–25); not EdgeLocal data. Your quote will vary with scope, materials and location.

Questions to ask this contractor

  1. Confirm utility locates: Contractors must call 811 before digging.
  2. Ask about drainage planning: Grading should move water away from structures.
  3. Clarify hauling: Confirm where excess soil goes.
