About insulation contractors in Marion
Insulation contractors add attic, wall and crawlspace insulation and air sealing. Insulation contractors perform air sealing, blow cellulose or fiberglass into attics and walls, install spray foam and rigid foam in basements and rim joists, and help homeowners qualify for energy rebates.
Typical cost: $1,800–$6,000 for attic insulation and air sealing. See the full cost guide
Typical U.S. ranges from industry sources (2024–25); not EdgeLocal data. Your quote will vary with scope, materials and location.
Questions to ask this contractor
- Ask for an energy audit: Blower door tests identify air leaks.
- Confirm target R-value: Northern climates typically aim for R-49 to R-60 in attics.
- Ask about air sealing: Insulation works best after air sealing.
