Use of the directory

EdgeLocal is free for homeowners to browse, search, save favorites, and submit quote requests. No account is required to browse the directory.

You may not use EdgeLocal to scrape contractor data, send unsolicited bulk messages, or impersonate a business owner.

Contractor listings

Contractor listings are sourced from state licensing registries and enriched with publicly available data. EdgeLocal makes no warranty about the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing.

EdgeLocal does not verify license status, insurance, bonding, or the quality of any contractor's work. Homeowners are responsible for independently verifying a contractor's credentials before hiring them.

Paid contractor subscriptions

Contractor ranking reports are $25/month, billed via Stripe. Your subscription begins immediately upon checkout. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; your access continues through the end of the paid period.

Ranking data is collected weekly (Sundays). If you subscribe mid-week, your first report will appear the following Sunday.

Refunds are not issued for partial billing periods.

Claiming a profile

You may claim a contractor profile only if you are authorized to represent that business. By claiming a profile, you represent that you have authority to do so. Fraudulent claims may result in account termination.

Limitation of liability

EdgeLocal is not a party to any agreement between homeowners and contractors. We are not liable for the quality of work performed, disputes between homeowners and contractors, or any damages arising from use of the directory. The directory is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Abuse policy

We reserve the right to remove or suspend any account or listing that violates these terms, is used for spam or fraud, or is used in a way that harms other users. Reported abuse: email [email protected].
